Ayesha Kapur, The Little Girl From Black, Gets Married To Longtime Beau Adam Oberoi

New Delhi [India], March 24: Ayesha Kapur, who gained fame as the young Rani Mukerji in the 2005 hit Black, is all grown up and married! The actress, who captivated audiences with her poignant portrayal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Adam Oberoi, over the weekend in an intimate ceremony in Delhi.

The wedding was attended by close family and friends, and Ayesha looked breathtaking in a soft pink lehenga, paired with a matching dupatta draped gracefully over her attire. Adam complemented his bride’s look, wearing a pastel sherwani and a pink turban, making for a picture-perfect couple.

Ayesha first rose to prominence for her role in Black, where she played the younger version of Rani Mukerji’s character, Michelle. The film, which tells the story of a teacher with Alzheimer’s disease helping a girl with visual and hearing impairments, became one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of that year and received multiple accolades, including three National Awards and several prestigious Filmfare and IIFA awards.

Ayesha’s performance earned widespread praise, and she was reportedly trained by Ranbir Kapoor, who was an assistant director on the film. After Black, Ayesha briefly stepped away from the film industry, making a return in the 2009 film Sikandar. She was also set to star in Shekhar Kapur’s Paani alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, but the project was eventually shelved.
