Aviation Premier League Season 2 To Return From March 17–24 In NCR

New Delhi: The Aviation Premier League (APL) is set to make a high-energy comeback with its second season, scheduled to be held from March 17 to March 24, 2026, in the National Capital Region (NCR). Riding on the success of its inaugural edition, APL Season 2 promises a bigger, more immersive blend of cricket, corporate networking, and entertainment, bringing together key stakeholders from India’s fast-growing aviation ecosystem.

Following a well-received first season conducted in association with the Mumbai Cricket Association, the upcoming edition will feature 10 newly formed competitive teams, representing some of the most prominent names across the aviation sector. The teams will battle it out over eight action-packed match days, delivering high-intensity cricket in the league’s signature T10 format.

According to an official release from the organisers, Season 2 has been scaled up significantly, with wider audience reach, enhanced broadcast production, deeper brand integrations, and stronger corporate engagement, while maintaining the fast-paced cricketing excitement that defined the league’s debut.

Cricket meets aviation and branding

Speaking on the return of the league, Kunal Kothari, Promoter, Aviation Premier League, highlighted the unique positioning of the tournament.
“The rapid growth of the aviation industry and the universal appeal of cricket together create a powerful platform for promotion and branding. APL is not just a tournament; it is a convergence of business, sport, and visibility. For brands associated with APL, this league offers unmatched engagement, credibility, and long-term value,” he said.

The T10 format, known for its explosive pace and shorter match duration, ensures constant on-field action while offering substantial opportunities for brand visibility, sponsorship activation, and industry networking.

Season 1 success sets the stage

APL’s inaugural season established a strong foundation with nationwide reach through live television and OTT platforms, including a successful broadcast on FanCode. The three-day tournament featured 15 matches, culminating in a thrilling T10 final.

Eight aviation-industry franchises competed in Season 1, including Air India Aviators, Custom Challengers, AESC Warriors, DFS Daredevils, Target Thunderbolts, MIAL Mavericks, Ahmedabad Titans, and Kolkata Strikers, setting high standards for competition and engagement.

Match schedule and format

APL Season 2 will feature 23 high-intensity T10 matches played over eight days from March 17 to March 24, 2026.

  • Opening Day (March 17):
    • Match 1: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Match 2: 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • March 18–24:

The packed evening schedule is designed to maximise fan engagement while offering a full week of uninterrupted cricket action in the NCR.
