Atishi Calls Delhi Assembly Elections A “Battle Of Truth Vs Lies” As Voting Begins

New Delhi [India], February 5: Ahead of voting in the Delhi assembly elections, Chief Minister Atishi, contesting from the Kalkaji assembly seat, termed the election a battle of “truth versus lies.” She expressed confidence that the people of Delhi would support the truth and reject hooliganism. Atishi also visited the Kalkaji Temple before casting her vote and urged voters to make their voices heard in this significant election.

Speaking to reporters, Atishi said, “In this battle of truth versus lies, I hope the people of Delhi will stand with the truth, work, and defeat hooliganism.” She also accused the Delhi Police of favoring the BJP and emphasized that this election represents a fight between development and lawlessness.

Atishi is contesting against former AAP leader Alka Lamba (Congress) and BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri in the Kalkaji constituency. Earlier, she took to social media to urge people to vote, calling the election a “Dharam Yuddh” (religious war), symbolizing the fight between good and evil.
