Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Spy Series ‘FUBAR’ Cancelled After Two Seasons

August 3, 2025: Streaming giant Netflix has cancelled the action-comedy series “FUBAR,” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, after just two seasons. The decision comes after the show’s second season failed to match the success of its debut, with viewership reportedly dropping by 73 percent.

Created by Nick Santora, the father-daughter spy drama premiered in 2023, with its second season arriving in June of this year. Both seasons consisted of eight episodes. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the significant decline in viewership for the second installment was a key factor in the cancellation.

“FUBAR” also starred Oscar nominee Monica Barbaro as Schwarzenegger’s daughter. The official logline of the show described a CIA operative who discovers his daughter is also a fellow agent, forcing them to work together despite their “complicated personal relationship and the inherent dangers of their profession.” The series featured a large cast, including Carrie-Anne Moss, Milan Carter, and Fortune Feimster.
