Arjun Tendulkar’s Mehendi Ceremony Goes Viral Ahead Of Wedding With Saaniya Chandhok

The wedding celebrations of Arjun Tendulkar, IPL cricketer and son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, have officially begun. Ahead of their much-anticipated wedding on March 5, the first visuals from Arjun’s Mehendi ceremony with fiancée Saaniya Chandhok surfaced online and quickly went viral.

A Star-Studded Pre-Wedding Celebration

The intimate yet lavish ceremony brought together members of the Tendulkar and Chandhok families. Reports suggest that former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech were also in attendance, adding more star power to the celebrations.

The wedding, scheduled for March 5, 2026, is expected to be a high-profile affair. Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly extended invitations to prominent dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu, among others.

Sachin’s Emotional Words for His Son

At a recent gathering, Sachin shared a heartfelt message about Arjun’s new chapter in life.

“Jab beta koi ladki ko ghar leke aata hai, introduce karne ke liye, then you know ke beta bada ho gaya hai… They look madly in love with each other. Arjun, I am extremely proud of you to have found someone so special who loves you as much as you love her.”

The emotional message resonated with fans, who have followed Arjun’s journey both on and off the field.

Engagement and Background

Arjun and Saaniya got engaged in August 2025. Saaniya, a successful entrepreneur, comes from a well-known Mumbai business family and is the granddaughter of prominent businessman Ravi Ghai. She has reportedly been part of the Tendulkar family’s inner circle for some time.

Arjun’s Cricketing Journey

Professionally, Arjun continues to carve out his own identity in Indian cricket. Recently traded from Mumbai Indians to Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League, the left-arm pacer will represent LSG in the upcoming season.

After beginning his domestic career in Mumbai, Arjun moved to Goa and made a sensational Ranji Trophy debut in 2022, scoring a century — mirroring his father’s iconic feat of a hundred in his maiden first-class innings. A tall left-arm fast bowler and capable lower-order batter, he has steadily grown into a reliable bowling all-rounder.

Despite the inevitable pressure of carrying the Tendulkar surname, Arjun has shown glimpses of promise during his IPL appearances. With a new franchise and a major personal milestone approaching, the spotlight will firmly be on him in the coming months.
