Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 2: Actors Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh are set to star together in an upcoming film titled Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The makers announced the film on Thursday, revealing that it will hit theatres on February 21, 2025.
A post shared on the official Instagram handle of Pooja Entertainment teased, “Yahaan pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai–kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai! #MereHusbandKiBiwi In Cinemas 21st February, 2025.”
Along with the announcement, the makers also unveiled the film’s motion poster, which features a man’s shoe placed between a stiletto and a Punjabi jutti, hinting at the quirky nature of the film.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for films like Khel Khel Mein and Pati Patni Aur Woh, Mere Husband Ki Biwi promises to offer a lighthearted take on romantic relationships. In a statement, Aziz shared his excitement about the project, saying, “As a filmmaker, I’ve always believed in telling stories that entertain and leave audiences of all ages smiling. This film celebrates the quirks and complexities of relationships. It’s a wholesome entertainer that brings friends and families together, makes them laugh, and gives them something to talk about.”
He further explained, “It’s lighthearted, relatable, and filled with moments that will stay with you long after you leave the theater. I was eager to cast it exactly this way, and once the audience meets their characters, they’ll understand why!”
Although the plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh.
