Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan and his wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. The couple’s team confirmed the happy news, stating that the baby arrived on Sunday, marking a joyous new chapter for the family.
Sshura Khan was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday, October 4th, just a few days after the family hosted an intimate baby shower attended by close friends and relatives, including Arbaaz’s elder brother, Salman Khan, and his son, Arhaan Khan.
Arbaaz was reportedly seen making frequent visits to the hospital to be by his wife’s side. On Sunday, the couple was blessed with a baby girl. Sources close to the family revealed that “Sshura and the baby are doing fine,” and that “Both the mom and the baby are fine. It’s an emotional moment for the whole family and they are just happy.”
The family celebrations are already underway. Salman Khan, who was out of town for work commitments, is reportedly returning to Mumbai to be with his brother for this special occasion, according to an insider. The entire family is said to be overjoyed and eager to shower the new parents with love.
This marks Arbaaz Khan’s second experience with fatherhood. He is already a father to 22-year-old Arhaan Khan, his son from his previous marriage to actress and entrepreneur Malaika Arora.
While Arbaaz and Sshura have not yet made the official announcement on their social media, an update is expected soon. The couple tied the knot in an intimate nikah ceremony on December 24, 2023, at Arbaaz’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai. At the time, Arbaaz shared the news on Instagram, writing, “In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!”
