Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Hails Modi’s Leadership, Focuses On India’s Growth At Davos 2025

Davos (Switzerland): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing that under his guidance, India’s global standing has been greatly strengthened. Speaking with media on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos, CM Naidu highlighted the importance of unity in achieving the nation’s economic goals.

“The brand of India has been reinforced under Prime Minister’s leadership. India is very strong, and well-recognized by the global community, global investors, and all countries. That is the message. This Davos is giving some ideas for the global community. All ideas already we are implementing. So we have to reinforce our execution. (If) all of us work together we will achieve double-digit growth that is very important for India,” CM Naidu stated.

Additionally, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh showcased the state’s active participation at the forum, noting the significant number of projects launched in the state. He also highlighted the importance of strong states in building a stronger nation.

“This Davos meeting for Andhra Pradesh is a comeback. We made it very clear that Andhra Pradesh is open for doing business. If you look at the kind of projects we have launched in the last seven months, no other state has launched such projects. Strong states make strong nations. And India first is going to be a strategy here at Davos,” Nara Lokesh told media.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 is being held from January 20th to 24th in Davos-Klosters. At the conference, India Pavilion features eight states, including Kerala, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and West Bengal, each seeking investment opportunities from global leaders.

India has sent its largest-ever delegation to the WEF 2025 annual meeting, including five union ministers and three state chief ministers. Over 100 CEOs, government leaders, and representatives from civil society and the arts are also attending this year’s event.
