Actor Anusha Dandekar recently had a heartwarming reunion with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, which brought back fond memories of their time together on the sets of the 2005 film Virrudh… Family Comes First. Reflecting on the experience, Anusha shared a picture with Big B on Instagram, captioning it, “My First Father In Law ever … lucky me #viruddh reunion.”
The post also sparked nostalgia among fans, many of whom fondly remembered the film. One user wrote, “A fine and very poignant film. Both you and Big B did so well. Sadly, the film got overshadowed by the July 26th rains.” Another fan remarked, “This movie was ahead of its time. If it were released now, you could have won a Filmfare.”
Virrudh marked its 19th anniversary in July 2023, and Anusha took to Instagram to honor the film, recalling her first-ever wedding scene and expressing gratitude for the opportunity. “What a beautiful film this was, especially for me. Thank you, @maheshmanjrekar, for giving me such special memories. I also get to say I worked with the greatest,” she posted.
