Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 14: Veteran actor Anupam Kher’s upcoming directorial venture Tanvi The Great is set to make a splash on the global stage with its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The film will be screened as part of the festival’s Marche du Film, with Kher and the entire cast and crew in attendance.
Sharing the news via Instagram, Kher expressed his excitement about the premiere and the film’s international journey. The Cannes debut will mark the beginning of a worldwide tour, with additional screenings planned in major cities including London, New York, and Los Angeles—bringing the film to a global audience.
“This film is a story born from deep passion and purpose,” Kher shared in a press release. “I’ve always wanted to tell a story that transcends borders and touches hearts around the world. Tanvi The Great is that story. It’s a film from our hearts, and I believe it will move audiences in Ahmedabad just as much as in America.”
Kher also praised the contribution of music director M.M. Keeravani, the Oscar-winning composer known for his work in RRR. “Having M.M. Keeravani onboard has been a true blessing. His music has elevated Tanvi The Great beyond anything I imagined,” Kher said.
The first-look teaser of the film was recently released, generating buzz among audiences. Directed by Kher and produced in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Tanvi The Great promises to blend powerful storytelling with soulful music, aiming to leave a lasting impact on both domestic and international viewers.
