Actor Anupam Kher has announced the schedule wrap of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, revealing that nearly 90% of his work on the much-anticipated sequel is now complete. Sharing the update on social media, the veteran actor expressed gratitude to the cast and crew, calling the experience both exhausting and exhilarating.
Kher posted a video from the film’s sets, offering fans a glimpse of him reprising his iconic role as Khosla. The video also featured familiar faces from the original 2006 cult classic, including Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja and Parvin Dabas, who return as members of the Khosla family. Tara Sharma, also part of the first film, has rejoined the cast for the sequel.
Adding to the nostalgia, Boman Irani was seen in the video as well, confirming his return as Khurana, one of the most memorable characters from the original film.
In his note, Anupam Kher described Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 as an “epic sequel” to the beloved original, hinting that this time “the con is bigger than the biggest.” He thanked the cast, technicians, writers, director, producers and the entire unit for their support and warmth, while wishing the team well for the remaining shoot.
Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the original Khosla Ka Ghosla became a cult favourite for its witty take on property scams and middle-class family struggles. With much of the sequel now wrapped, expectations are high for the return of the iconic characters and their trademark humour.
