Anirudh Ravichander Postpones Chennai Concert Amid Overwhelming Fan Response

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 21: Popular Tamil singer and composer Anirudh Ravichander has postponed the grand finale of his Hukum Tour in Chennai due to an overwhelming demand for tickets that exceeded the capacity of the planned venue.

Originally scheduled to take place on July 26 at Thiruvidanthai, the concert has been delayed to ensure a “bigger and better experience” for fans. The 34-year-old artist made the announcement through an emotional message to his fans—whom he lovingly calls the “Hukum family”—via Instagram.

“Due to the incredible love and overwhelming demand, the Hukum Chennai concert scheduled for July 26 at Thiruvidanthai is being postponed,” Anirudh wrote.

“We’re working on bringing you a bigger venue and a better experience with smoother entry, more space, and a whole lot more energy. Thank you so much for your love and patience. We’ll be back soon—bigger, better, and louder!”

The singer also assured that all ticket holders will receive a refund to their original payment method within 7–10 working days, coordinated by ticketing partner District by Zomato.

Anirudh launched his Hukum World Tour 2024 in February last year at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, with performances across international cities. The Chennai concert was meant to be the grand finale of the tour.

Fans have lauded Anirudh for prioritizing their comfort and safety, and anticipation is now even higher for the rescheduled finale.
