Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 13: As Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya celebrates its 44th anniversary, Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to reflect on his early acting journey and share his admiration for Hollywood icons Marlon Brando and James Dean, who influenced his craft.
The actor posted a collection of nostalgic images from the cult classic, revealing how Brando’s performance in A Streetcar Named Desire and Dean’s portrayal in Rebel Without a Cause left a lasting impact on him. “Their presence was always in the back of my mind—guiding, influencing, inspiring,” Kapoor shared in his post, adding that they have been a constant source of admiration throughout his career.
Directed by M.S. Sathyu, Kahan Kahan Se Guzar Gaya also starred Pankaj Kapur, Sharon Prabhakar, Neesha Singh, and Masood Akhtar. Kapoor expressed his pride in being a part of this memorable film, which featured stunning cinematography by Ishan Arya and iconic moments captured by Nemai Ghosh.
Looking ahead, Kapoor is set to star in Subedaar, directed by Suresh Triveni, known for his work on Tumhari Sulu (2017) and Jalsa. The teaser for Subedaar has already piqued interest, showing Kapoor in a tense scene where his character, Subedaar Arjun Maurya, is prepared for confrontation, signaling with a loaded gun.
The film, produced by Opening Image Films and Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network (AKFCN), features Radhika Madan as Shyama, the daughter of Kapoor’s character. With Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Suresh Triveni serving as producers, Subedaar promises to be an exciting new chapter in Kapoor’s illustrious career.
