Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), December 10: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and JanaSena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has allegedly received death threats from an unidentified individual, the party revealed on Monday. The threats were conveyed through phone calls and offensive text messages targeting Kalyan.
The JanaSena Party posted on X, stating, “Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s office staff received threatening calls from an unidentified person, who threatened to kill him and sent offensive messages using abusive language.”
Police Notified of Threats
The party confirmed that senior police officials have been informed about the incident. “The Deputy CM’s office staff brought the threatening calls and messages to his attention and reported the matter to the police,” the statement added.
The identity and motive of the caller remain unknown, and further details about the investigation are awaited.
