Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 16: The celebrated trio of Anand Pandit, Mahesh Bhatt, and Vikram Bhatt have joined forces once again for a spine-chilling horror thriller titled ‘Haunted 3D: Ghosts of the Past’.
Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, the film marks the second major collaboration of the trio following the massive success of ‘1920’. Announcing the project on his Instagram handle, Vikram Bhatt shared a motion poster of the film, promising a hair-raising cinematic experience.
The lead roles are played by Mahaakshay Chakraborty and Chetna Pandey, and the film is all set to hit theatres on September 26, 2025.
Sharing the poster, Bhatt wrote:
“After the incredible response to 1920: Horrors of The Heart, I knew we had to return with something even more haunting… So here we are — Haunted 3D: Ghosts of The Past… bringing you a terrifying story that’ll stay with you long after the lights come back on.”

Producer Anand Pandit praised Vikram Bhatt’s creative contributions to the horror genre in Indian cinema.
“I have always had great regard for Mahesh Bhatt and immensely enjoyed Vikram Bhatt’s work. Horror isn’t frequently explored in Hindi cinema, but Vikram continues to innovate with stories that challenge our understanding of the paranormal,” said Pandit.
Mahesh Bhatt, co-presenter of the film, shared his enthusiasm for working once again with Pandit and his production house, citing their refreshing approach to storytelling.
Vikram Bhatt emphasized that the upcoming film will break new ground in horror filmmaking:
“Theoretically and technically, this film goes beyond anything we’ve done before. It will expand the very definition of a horror thriller in unprecedented ways.”
‘Haunted 3D: Ghosts of the Past’ is co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Krishna Bhatt Sarda, Dilip Soni Jaiswal, Rahul V Dubey, and Sanjay Singh, with support from Rakesh Juneja and Shweta Ambari Bhatt. The film is poised to deliver a terrifying yet thrilling ride for horror lovers across the globe this September.
