Cairo, Egypt – July 20, 2025 — Rising star Anahat Singh will lead a 12-member Indian squad at the World Junior Individual Squash Championships 2025, taking place from July 21–26 at the Black Ball Sporting Club in Cairo. The prestigious under-19 tournament will feature 234 top junior players from around the world and will be available for live streaming in India via Olympics.com.
🔹 India’s Medal Hopes: Spotlight on Anahat Singh
- Anahat Singh, the newly crowned U19 Asian girls’ champion, enters the tournament as the second seed, behind Egyptian world no. 5 Amina Orfi, who is chasing a historic fourth straight title.
- At just 17, Anahat is already ranked No. 54 in the senior PSA world rankings and has won multiple PSA Challenger titles.
- She also made her World Championships debut in Chicago earlier this year and claimed Asian senior titles in both women’s and mixed doubles.
