Washington [US]: Amazon MGM has officially announced that Amy Pascal and David Heyman will produce the next James Bond film, marking a significant shift in the franchise’s production history.
Historic Change in Bond Franchise
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this will be the first Bond movie produced outside the Broccoli family’s control. Long-time Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who have managed the franchise since the 1960s, will now step aside as Pascal and Heyman take the helm.
Meet the New Producers
- Amy Pascal – Producer of the blockbuster Spider-Man franchise.
- David Heyman – Known for producing the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series.
- They will produce under their respective banners, Pascal Pictures and Heyday Films.
