Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: On the occasion of Abhishek Bachchan’s 49th birthday, his father and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to share a nostalgic moment from when his son was born.
The black-and-white photo shared on Big B’s blog captures a young Amitabh at a hospital, surrounded by nurses and gazing lovingly at his newborn son. Abhishek can be seen lying in an incubator, wrapped in cloth, while his father leans in with affection.
Along with the photo, Amitabh penned an emotional tribute to his son:
“And tonight shall be a latish night .. Abhishek turns 49 .. and his new year shall be brought in .. Feb 5, 1976 .. Time has passed rapidly .. !!!!”
He also expressed deep reflections on how time has passed and the complexities of expressing emotions in today’s world.
Celebrity Birthday Wishes for Abhishek
Abhishek received heartfelt birthday wishes from many of his colleagues and friends, including Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Sonali Bendre, and Sonam Kapoor.
Ajay Devgn, who shares a great on-screen bond with Abhishek, shared a funny picture of the two and wrote, “Always making my chest like a blouse”… hahaha. Happy birthday @bachchan. The duo has worked together in various films like Bol Bachchan, Yuva, and Zameen.
Sonam Kapoor shared a picture from their popular song “Masakali” from Delhi 6 and wished Abhishek a happy birthday.
Sonali Bendre also wished him with love, posting: “Happu Birthday, AB! Sending lots of love and best wishes your way @bachchan.”
Meanwhile, Kajol shared a picture of the two and wrote, “Here’s to an amazing day and even better year ahead, Abhishek! Happy Birthday.”
Abhishek’s Recent Work and Upcoming Projects
On the professional front, Abhishek was last seen in the film I Want to Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar, which was released in November 2023. The film is now available for streaming on Prime Video.
Reports suggest that Abhishek is gearing up for his next project, King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
