Amit Shah Slams AAP, Calls It A “3G Government” Ahead Of Delhi Elections

New Delhi [India]: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), claiming that the people of Delhi will decisively vote out the ruling party in the upcoming assembly elections.

Labeling the AAP government as a “3G Sarkar,” Shah remarked:
“The government running in Delhi is 3G – ‘Ghotale wali Sarkar’ (a government of scams), ‘Ghuspaithiyon ko panah dene wali Sarkar’ (a government that shelters infiltrators), and ‘Ghaple karne wali Sarkar’ (a government indulging in fraud).”

He asserted that there was a strong wave of public discontent against AAP in Delhi.

AAP’s Election Troubles

Referring to AAP leader Manish Sisodia contesting from a different constituency, Shah claimed that the party was aware of its imminent defeat. He further alleged that nearly 26 out of 52 AAP MLAs who were denied tickets also believed that the party was losing.

“I came to Mustafabad after witnessing a huge wave against AAP in the entire Delhi. On February 8, the people of Delhi will sweep AAP out of power. Even AAP knows they are going to lose. Manish Sisodia has changed his seat. Of the 52 AAP MLAs, 26 were denied tickets—they also know the party is losing,” Shah said at a rally in Sonia Vihar.

Criticism Over Yamuna Pollution

Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Shah criticized the AAP government over the pollution in the Yamuna River.

“Arvind Kejriwal said he would clean the Yamuna, ensure smooth Chhath Puja celebrations, and even take a dip in the river—but he didn’t. BJP workers made a cutout of Kejriwal take a dip, and even that had to be admitted to AIIMS due to the river’s pollution. Now, he is making excuses, claiming the Haryana government is polluting the river,” he quipped.

He further vowed that the BJP would work towards making Delhi pollution-free and fulfill its promise of setting up a Sports University.

Scam Allegations Against AAP

Amit Shah also accused the AAP government of involvement in multiple scams amounting to thousands of crores, including the liquor scam, Jal Board scam, ration distribution scam, and others.

**”Arvind Kejriwal built a 50,000-yard bungalow with luxurious amenities. Not only did he create the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ worth ₹51 crore, but scams worth thousands of crores were also carried out, such as:

  • Liquor scam
  • Jal Board scam (₹28,000 crore)
  • Ration distribution scam (₹5,600 crore)
  • DTC bus scam (₹4,500 crore)
  • Classroom construction scam (₹1,300 crore)
  • Panic button scam in buses (₹500 crore)
  • CCTV scam (₹571 crore),”** Shah alleged.
