Allu Arjun Visits Chiranjeevi’s Residence Following Interim Bail Grant

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 15: Actor Allu Arjun, who was granted interim bail from Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday, visited the residence of superstar Chiranjeevi in Hyderabad on Sunday, accompanied by his family.

The ‘Pushpa 2’ actor secured his release after providing a personal bond of Rs 50,000. His release was met with support from family members and colleagues in the film industry, many of whom gathered at his Jubilee Hills home in Hyderabad. Paparazzi captured visuals of Allu Arjun leaving Chiranjeevi’s residence in his car following the visit.

Allu Arjun had been arrested on Friday in connection with a tragic incident during the screening of his latest film on December 4, where a woman died due to a crowd-related incident. The actor was granted bail on Saturday morning by the Telangana High Court.

Following his release, actors Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya visited Allu Arjun to offer their support, sharing warm hugs with him. Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, also visited her nephew at his Jubilee Hills residence. Actor Vijay Deverakonda and ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ director Sukumar were also seen at the actor’s home, conversing and embracing him.

Addressing the media after his release, Allu Arjun expressed gratitude for the support he had received. “I thank everyone for the love and support. I want to thank all my fans. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened,” he said.

The incident leading to Allu Arjun’s arrest occurred during a chaotic scene at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’ A large crowd gathered to see the actor, and tensions escalated when he waved to fans from the sunroof of his vehicle. The police allege that this gesture contributed to the chaos, which resulted in the death of a woman, Revathi, and injuries to her son.

Initially, Allu Arjun was sent to 14 days of judicial custody by a lower court in Telangana following the incident. However, his legal team appealed to the Telangana High Court, which granted him interim bail. Despite the ruling, Allu Arjun spent one night in jail before being released.

His latest release, Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is currently breaking box office records.
