All-Party Delegation Led By Baijayant Panda Arrives In Kuwait, Continues Global Campaign Against Terrorism

The Indian all-party delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda has arrived in Kuwait, marking the next phase of its international outreach after successfully concluding its Bahrain leg. The delegation is on a strategic mission to convey India’s unified stance against terrorism, particularly in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, and to counter Pakistan’s global misinformation campaign.

The delegation includes a broad representation from across the Indian political spectrum:

  • Baijayant Jay Panda (BJP)
  • Nishikant Dubey (BJP)
  • Phangnon Konyak (BJP)
  • Rekha Sharma (BJP)
  • Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM)
  • Satnam Singh Sandhu (BJP)
  • Ghulam Nabi Azad (Former J&K CM)
  • Harsh Vardhan Shringla (Former Indian Diplomat)

In Bahrain, the delegation engaged with prominent leaders and stakeholders including:

  • Abdul Nabi Salman, First Deputy Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives
  • Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain

These interactions focused on India’s decisive military response — Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7 to eliminate terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir. The operation was a reaction to the Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives, and reportedly neutralized over 100 terrorists linked to groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Speaking during their meetings, the MPs emphasized India’s bipartisan and national consensus on zero tolerance for terrorism, underscoring that terrorism is not a regional issue but a global security threat.

This delegation is one of seven teams currently deployed across strategic regions, including:

  • Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria, UAE, Qatar
  • UK, France, Germany, EU, Italy, Denmark, Spain, Greece
  • Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Singapore
  • USA, Panama, Brazil, Colombia
  • Liberia, Congo, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Ethiopia
  • Russia, Slovenia, Latvia, Egypt

This massive global diplomatic campaign is a coordinated effort to build international awareness, solidarity, and cooperation against the state-sponsored terrorism India continues to face, particularly from Pakistan.

According to official sources, the delegation will next engage with Kuwaiti leaders, policymakers, and the Indian diaspora to continue strengthening India’s message of peace, justice, and collective global action against extremism.
