India Will Not Be Blackmailed By Terror: All-Party Delegation To Russia Reaffirms Strong Anti-Terror Stand

A high-level all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi, began its diplomatic outreach in Russia, reaffirming India’s strong and unified stance against terrorism. BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chowta (Retd) described the first day of the visit as “fruitful”, underlining the opportunity to present Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message that “terror and trade cannot happen together.”

“We met representatives from the Lower House and Upper House… PM Modi had categorically said that blood and water can’t flow together. The terror we are facing is state-sponsored terror from Pakistan. The world needs to take cognisance of this,” said Chowta, expressing confidence that Russia, a long-standing ally, would back India’s position.

Operation Sindoor: Not Just a Reaction, But a Diagnosis

Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai emphasized the significance of Operation Sindoor, calling it a “reaction, symptom, and diagnosis.”

“Unless we eliminate its roots in Pakistan—unless terrorist camps are dismantled—this crisis will continue. Countries that believe this is a bilateral India-Pakistan issue need to rethink,” he said, praising Russia’s support as India’s “oldest friend.”

Kanimozhi: India Refuses to Be Blackmailed

In a press conference held in Moscow, Kanimozhi clarified that the purpose of the visit was to counter misinformation campaigns and convey India’s resilience.

“India refuses to be blackmailed by nuclear threats. We will fight for our integrity and stand united against terrorism,” she said, urging Russia to continue its steadfast support for India in this global fight.

India as a Global Anti-Terror Voice

AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal issued a sharp rebuke of Pakistan’s global role, stating:

“Pakistan is not only nourishing terrorism—it’s nurturing, supporting, and promoting it worldwide. India has suffered immensely. That is why India wants to be the ambassador of the global anti-terrorist drive.”

He invoked the Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), saying:

“We believe in peace. We don’t want any other nation to suffer the way India has.”

Delegation Members and Global Outreach

The delegation includes:

  • Kanimozhi (DMK) – Leader of the delegation
  • Captain Brijesh Chowta (BJP)
  • Rajeev Rai (Samajwadi Party)
  • Prem Chand Gupta (RJD)
  • Ashok Kumar Mittal (AAP)
  • Manjeev Singh Puri (Former Ambassador)

Following Russia, the delegation is scheduled to visit Slovenia, Greece, Latvia, and Spain, continuing its mission to highlight India’s resolute fight against terrorism and Operation Sindoor, which marked a decisive counter-terror response.

The all-party delegation’s presence in Moscow sends a clear signal to the international community—that India is united, determined, and vocal in its opposition to state-sponsored terrorism, and seeks global solidarity in this mission of peace and justice.
