A Celebration of the Enduring Hero
Shony Panjikaran, General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International, India, emphasized that the re-release is designed to serve both dedicated, long-time fans and a new generation of viewers discovering the hero for the first time.
“Spider-Man is one of the most enduring and inspirational characters in the world,” said Panjikaran. “Bringing back all his films to Indian cinemas is a way to honour the fans who have loved him for decades, while also giving new audiences the chance to experience these iconic stories on the grandest scale.”
While the next cinematic chapter, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (the fourth Tom Holland MCU film), is still some time away from its 2026 release, this extensive re-release will offer a comprehensive look back at the cinematic legacy of the most popular Marvel Comics character.
