The gown, paired with a golden breastplate and a dramatic double-panelled cape, paid homage to legendary fashion editor Andre Leon Talley, reflecting the theme “Tailored for You.”
Kiara’s look was elevated by intricate accessories, including charms on her nails and chunky golden rings, adding a bold touch to her powerful appearance on fashion’s biggest stage.
The Bollywood fraternity poured in love and admiration for Kiara’s look. Actress Alia Bhatt commented on Kiara’s Instagram post, calling her a “Gorgeous mama” with white hearts. Athiya Shetty also expressed her appreciation with red heart emojis.
Speaking about her debut, Kiara said, “Making my Met Gala debut at this point in my life, as both an artist and mother-to-be, feels incredibly special. When my stylist, Anaita, approached Gaurav to design my look, he created ‘Bravehearts’ — a vision that honours the transformative phase I’m stepping into, connecting it beautifully to this year’s dress code ‘Tailored for You.’”
She added that the look was a silent tribute to Andre Leon Talley, symbolizing intention, individuality, and strength.
