Akshay Kumar Recreates Viral ‘Langdi’ Hook Step With Veer Pahariya; ‘Sky Force’ To Stream On Prime Video From March 21

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 19: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has once again set the internet abuzz as he joined his Sky Force co-star Veer Pahariya to recreate the newcomer’s viral ‘langdi’ hook step from the song Rang. The step has been making waves on social media ever since the song’s release.

Prime Video shared a fun clip of the duo performing the hook step without background music, accompanied by the text, “You can hear the reel.” The video also served as an announcement that the much-awaited action-thriller Sky Force will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting March 21.

The caption of the post read, “You know what’s landing #SkyForceOnPrime, March 21.”

Following the release of the video, fans flooded the comments section with excitement. One user wrote, “The collab we never knew we needed,” while another commented, “We are loving it.”

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is an action-packed drama produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya in lead roles, alongside Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in key supporting roles.

Inspired by true events, Sky Force narrates the story of one of India’s first and most intense airstrikes on Pakistan. The film follows a hero lost in action and his comrade’s relentless quest for the truth. With gripping aerial sequences, emotional depth, and themes of courage, the movie is a tribute to the valor and resilience of the Indian Air Force.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is also gearing up for his next film, Bhooth Bangla, marking his reunion with director Priyadarshan after a long hiatus. The duo has previously collaborated on hit films such as Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Bhooth Bangla features an ensemble cast, including Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film will also see Akshay and Tabu sharing screen space after 25 years, their last collaboration being the cult classic Hera Pheri.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms in association with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is set for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.
