Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, releases on April 10, three weeks after Dhurandhar The Revenge’s blockbuster debut. Akshay stated the film targets families and children, unlike Dhurandhar 2, which is adult-oriented. He added that Bhooth Bangla’s focus was on a good story rather than following current box-office trends.
Priyadarshan echoed this, noting audiences enjoy multiple genres and can appreciate both intense action films and light-hearted comedies. Bhooth Bangla stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi, marking Akshay and Priyadarshan’s reunion after over a decade. The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films.
