Television actor and model Akanksha Chamola, wife of recently crowned Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna, has issued an urgent “scam alert” to her followers. Akanksha took to Instagram to reveal that a fraudster is using her name and identity to mislead people.
Akanksha shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp profile operating under the name “Akanshag Khanna” and clarified that she has no association with the number.
The Scam Alert
According to her Instagram Stories, the impersonator has been messaging her friends and acquaintances. Akanksha urged her fans to be vigilant:
- Action Required: “Please ignore and report this number as it’s impersonating me,” she wrote.
- Clarification: She stated clearly that she does not have a second functioning phone number and that followers should not respond to any suspicious messages claiming to be from her.
Celebrating Gaurav Khanna’s Big Win
The alert comes shortly after Akanksha was seen celebrating a massive milestone for her husband. Gaurav Khanna, widely known for his role as Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa, emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19 on December 7, 2025.
The couple recently hosted a star-studded success party in Mumbai to celebrate both the trophy win and Gaurav’s birthday (December 11). The event featured several of Gaurav’s co-contestants, including:
