Mumbai (Maharashtra), July 17: For debutant actor Ahaan Pandey, July 18, 2025, is more than just a release date—it’s a defining moment in his life. His first film, Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, hits theatres this Friday, and on the eve of its release, Ahaan shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
In a deeply emotional post, Ahaan recalled his long-standing admiration for Mohit Suri’s work—dating back to his childhood.
“You might’ve met me a year ago, but the truth is, I met you long before that,” Ahaan began, reminiscing about car rides with his grandmother, cassette tapes of Suri’s films, and watching Aashiqui 2 with his family.
“We cried through the ending and then cried again because we had to translate every dialogue for my mother.”
Ahaan described how Mohit Suri’s music and movies helped shape his emotional world growing up:
“I met you in my moments of pain and love… you defined my childhood in ways you couldn’t imagine. And maybe somewhere, in some universe, my grandmother is buying a cassette of Saiyaara today.”
