Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 26: Renowned Telugu actress Surekha Vani visited the sacred Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirumala on Monday and offered prayers. The actress was seen in traditional attire, radiating grace and devotion during her temple visit.
Surekha Vani, known for her roles in popular films such as Mera Bharat Mahaan, Parijata Parvam, and Honeymoon Express, joined the long list of celebrities who frequently visit the holy shrine seeking divine blessings.
Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati is one of India’s most visited religious destinations, attracting millions of devotees every year. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the temple holds immense spiritual significance and often sees visits from film stars, industrialists, and public figures.
Joining the line of recent celebrity visitors, India’s fielding coach T Dilip also paid a visit to the temple on Sunday. His pilgrimage comes just ahead of the upcoming five-match Test series against England, scheduled from June to August 2025. The series is part of the 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship and will be held at iconic stadiums including Headingley (Leeds), Edgbaston (Birmingham), Lord’s (London), Old Trafford (Manchester), and The Oval (London).
Earlier this month, actress Sreemukhi also visited the temple to offer prayers. She was spotted in a pink full-sleeved suit with a red cloth draped around her shoulders. Sreemukhi warmly greeted her fans while exiting the temple premises after seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
These visits highlight the continued spiritual devotion of celebrities and sportspersons, drawing attention to Tirumala’s cultural and religious importance.
