Two people who were engaged in the recent shooting at Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly were killed in a police encounter near Ghaziabad on Wednesday.
The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) says that the two men who were arrested, Ravindra and Arun, were part of the infamous Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gang. The Delhi Police said that both guys “have succumbed to injuries” after a gunfight with police.
The encounter took place in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City. A joint squad from the UP STF’s Noida section and the Delhi Police stopped the two individuals, which led to a gunfight in which both men were hurt badly. They were taken to the hospital quickly, but they didn’t make it.
The police found a Glock and a Zigana pistol, as well as a lot of bullets, at the site.
What Happened at Disha Patani’s House
Around 3:30 a.m. on September 12, two people on a motorcycle shot at Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly. The actress’s father, Jagdish Singh Patani, who used to be a deputy superintendent of police, said the attackers shot “10 to 15 rounds in quick succession.” He also said that the gun seemed like it was made in another country.
After the attack, a social media post that was later taken down said that gangster Goldy Brar’s friends were responsible for the shooting. The message said that the attack was in response to “insulting” comments made about spiritual leaders Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, and it warned that this was “just a trailer.”
After the event, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, spoke to Jagdish Singh Patani and promised that the police would protect the family.
