Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 20: Television actor Abhinav Shukla has reportedly received a death threat via social media from a user claiming to be associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, sparking concern and swift calls for police action.

The threat came in the wake of a verbal altercation on the show Battleground, involving Shukla’s wife, actress Rubina Dilaik, and rapper Asim Riaz. Shortly after the episode aired, a disturbing message was sent to Shukla on Instagram.
The sender, using the name Ankush Gupta, warned:
“I’m from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang… Should I come over? Just like Salman Khan was shot at, I’ll come to your house and shoot you with an AK-47.”
The message also issued a final warning:
“Say anything about Asim, and your name goes on the list. Lawrence Bishnoi stands with Asim.”
The sender also claimed to know Shukla’s home address and threatened to take similar action as the recent firing outside Salman Khan’s residence, which occurred on April 14.
