ABC Drops Teaser for ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Featuring Tornado Chaos and Star-Studded Cast

Washington DC [US], June 17: ABC has unveiled an eagerly awaited teaser for 9-1-1: Nashville, the latest spinoff in the 9-1-1 franchise, featuring dramatic tornadoes tearing through Music City—marking the first major disaster for Nashville’s emergency response team, according to Deadline.

Like its predecessors, 9-1-1: Nashville blends high-stakes emergency rescues with deeply personal stories, this time unfolding against the backdrop of Tennessee’s capital. The show promises a mix of action-packed procedural storytelling and a family saga rooted in power and Southern glamour.

The series stars Chris O’Donnell as Captain Don Sharpe and features Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley in key roles. The show is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television.

The executive producing and writing team includes Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani. Chris O’Donnell, Brad Buecker, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett also serve as executive producers.

9-1-1: Nashville is set to air on ABC this fall, joining the flagship 9-1-1 series which continues on the same network. Meanwhile, the spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star concluded its run on Fox earlier this year after five seasons.

In a previous interview with Deadline, Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group, praised the franchise’s consistent ability to deliver compelling event-driven television. “They have a really special event planned for 9-1-1: Nashville. It’s an incredible opportunity, and while crossovers haven’t been discussed yet, I’m sure it’s something we’ll explore,” Erwich said, commending showrunners Tim Minear and Ryan Murphy for their creative leadership.
