Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 18: As ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ completed 10 years since its release on July 17, 2015, actor Aayush Sharma marked the occasion with a heartfelt tribute to the film that played a pivotal role in his entry into the world of cinema.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Aayush shared a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s shoot. One notable image captured him clicking a photo of Salman Khan on set. Other pictures featured director Kabir Khan, co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and candid moments during the film’s production.
In an accompanying note, Aayush revealed how ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ became the starting point of his filmmaking journey. Recalling his time on set, he wrote:
“I feel grateful to have started my filmmaking journey with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, under the guidance of legendary filmmaker @kabirkhankk sir. Walking onto the set, I was clueless about movie production, but sir, you taught me the fundamentals of film and shared valuable tips for the future. Thank you for being my first teacher!”
He also spoke about discovering his passion for photography during the shoot and credited Salman Khan for inspiring him in a humorous way:
“On set, I discovered my hobby of photography, but I was unsure what made a good photo. That’s when Bhai @beingsalmankhan shared a funny tip: point the camera at him, and the photo will turn out great! Following his advice, I learned from a legend both behind and in front of the camera. I’m thankful for the best acting school experience.”
About the Film
Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The emotional drama follows Pawan, a kind-hearted Indian man, as he helps a lost mute girl from Pakistan reunite with her family.
