AAP Leader Raghav Chadha Expresses Confidence in Party’s Chances To Win Delhi Polls

New Delhi [India], February 5: Raghav Chadha, an AAP MP, expressed confidence about his party’s prospects in the ongoing Delhi Assembly elections, emphasizing the hard work, truth, and honesty that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has put into its efforts. He highlighted AAP’s achievements in improving Delhi’s health, education, electricity, and water systems, arguing that the people of Delhi will recognize the party’s efforts and reward them with their votes.

Chadha urged citizens to participate actively in the election process, calling it a “great festival of democracy.” He assured that AAP’s track record in areas like education and healthcare would secure their victory again, and that Delhiites would support a party that has had a positive impact on their lives.

While the AAP MP remains optimistic, voter turnout so far has been slow, with just 8.10% turnout recorded by 9 am. The highest turnout was recorded in North East Delhi at 10.70%. The election is being closely watched, with AAP hoping to retain power for a third term, the BJP aiming to reclaim it after nearly 27 years, and Congress hoping to make a comeback.

Polling is ongoing for the 70 assembly seats in Delhi, as well as by-elections in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. Key contested constituencies in Delhi include New Delhi, Jangpura, Kalkaji, and others, with the New Delhi seat seeing a high-profile contest involving Arvind Kejriwal from AAP, Parvesh Verma from BJP, and Sandeep Dikshit from Congress.

The results will be announced on February 8.
