Aamir Khan recently expressed shock after learning that Arijit Singh’s break from playback singing is permanent, according to a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video released on Monday.
In the video, Aamir visits Arijit’s hometown Murshidabad, West Bengal, where the two are seen chatting casually while sitting on the floor at the singer’s home. During their conversation, Aamir asks whether Arijit plans to take a temporary break or quit singing for Hindi films altogether.
Upon hearing Arijit’s response, Aamir reacts with disbelief and says in Hindi, “Aisa mat kar yaar, hum logon ka kya hoga (Don’t do this, what will happen to us?)”, highlighting how deeply the news impacted him.
