Bollywood’s “Mr. Perfectionist,” Aamir Khan, once again proved that age is just a number. During an exhibition match at the World Pickleball League (WPBL) 2026 on Saturday, February 7, the 60-year-old actor suffered a minor tumble on the court, but his swift recovery has left the internet in awe.
Playing with three lucky fans at the Jio World Garden in BKC, Aamir was seen charging forward with high intensity to return a difficult shot. In the process, he lost his footing and rolled on the court. While the crowd and his co-players briefly gasped in concern, Aamir quickly regained his composure, flashed a broad smile, and was back on his feet within seconds to resume the game.
Social Media Reactions: “Steady at 60”
The clip, shared by popular paparazzi accounts, immediately went viral. Fans lauded the actor’s fitness and grit:
- “At his age, many don’t even step onto the ground, let alone roll and get back up like that!” wrote one user.
- Others pointed out his tactical fall: “Good thing he rolled over; it prevented an awkward landing on his wrist.”
- Some fans playfully recalled his recent self-deprecating comment from last year where he called himself “extremely unfit,” noting that he looked anything but unfit on the court.
Aamir Khan’s 2026 Career Slate
While he is winning matches on the pickleball court, Aamir is also busy recalibrating his professional journey. After a successful 2025 with Sitaare Zameen Par, he is currently focusing on three major fronts:
| Project | Role | Current Status |
| Dadasaheb Phalke Biopic | Actor (Lead) | Collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani; shooting to begin March 2026. |
| Ek Din | Producer | Launching son Junaid Khan alongside Sai Pallavi; teaser released. |
| Mahabharat | Actor/Producer | Scripting underway for his long-gestating dream project. |
In a recent interview with Variety India, Aamir shared his new philosophy: “I’m focusing only on myself as an actor now.” He explained that producing often reduced his time for performance, and he is now eager to dive back into lead roles, starting with the much-anticipated Phalke biopic.
