Aamir Khan has officially put an end to rumors suggesting a title change for the upcoming Sunny Deol starrer, Lahore 1947. Speculation had been mounting that the makers were considering renaming the film to Batwara 1947 to steer clear of potential controversies ahead of its release, but the producer has confirmed the original title remains intact.
Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, marking a historic reunion for the director-actor duo after three decades.
