Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 6: After the success of the lively track ‘Nain Matakka’, the makers of Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s highly anticipated film Baby John have dropped its second song, “Pikley Pom”. The song highlights Varun Dhawan’s affectionate side as a loving father, showcasing a heartwarming bond with child artist Zara Zyanna, who plays a key role in the family entertainer. This glimpse into his “girl dad” persona is sure to resonate with audiences.
The song, presented by Atlee and composed by S. Thaman, features vocals by Vishal Mishra, with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil.
Earlier, the teaser for Baby John was released, depicting the film as an action-packed drama with strong emotional elements. Dhawan stars as a police officer and single father, portraying a fearless character ready to take on any challenge. In one powerful scene, he asserts, “Mere jaise bohat aaye hoge, main pehali baar aaya hu” (“Many like me might have come before, but I have come here for the first time”), hinting at his hero’s journey.
The teaser also introduces Keerthy Suresh as the female lead and features Jackie Shroff in a brief yet impactful role as the antagonist. Wamiqa Gabbi and Rajpal Yadav complete the dynamic ensemble cast. Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, and directed by A Kaleeswaran, Baby John is set to release on December 25.
