Alleged videos circulating on social media claim that the Burj Khalifa in Dubai came under a drone or missile threat following the reported killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The unverified clips show an airborne object moving toward the skyscraper, followed by an explosion that users claim was the result of an interception.

Several social media users posted dramatic captions alongside the footage. One wrote, “Missile flying towards Burj Al Khalifa, Dubai. I can’t believe the world is really witnessing the end of Dubai.” Others claimed that an Iranian drone had been intercepted near the world’s tallest building.
Earlier reports also suggested smoke was seen near the tower, with some posts alleging that a nearby structure may have been hit. There were unconfirmed claims that the building was evacuated as a precaution.
The alleged incident comes amid heightened tensions in the region after joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran and Tehran’s reported retaliation. Social media posts further claimed that areas such as Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab experienced fires following attempted attacks. Authorities also acknowledged an “incident” at Dubai airport that reportedly left at least four people injured, though details remain limited.
Officials have not issued any formal confirmation linking the viral visuals to an Iranian attack.
