Actress Monalisa has firmly dismissed rumours of trouble in her marriage with husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot after viewers speculated about their relationship dynamics on reality show The 50.
The couple, who entered the show together, have been seen having disagreements in recent episodes, prompting online chatter about possible marital issues. However, Monalisa clarified that conflicts between spouses are natural and should not be blown out of proportion.
“Conflict Honge, Par Divorce Nahi”
In an exclusive interaction, Monalisa said they were fully aware that arguments might surface on camera.
“Conflicts honge lekin iska matlab ye nahi ki hamare darwaaze par divorce hai,” she stated, making it clear that disagreements do not indicate a breakdown in their relationship.
She explained that misunderstandings and fights are part of every marriage, but they always resolve issues privately. According to her, some of the scenes shown lacked full context, which may have led viewers to misinterpret Vikrant’s behaviour.
‘Toxic’ Tag and Viewer Reactions
Monalisa acknowledged that certain fans felt she should have responded more strongly during arguments and that Vikrant was even labelled “toxic” by some viewers. However, she defended her husband, saying she understands his intentions.
“Ye hamari understanding hai. Mujhe pata hai ki wo mujhe samjhane ki koshish kar raha hai,” she said, adding that Vikrant did not want her to appear weak on national television. Calling it “our thing,” she reiterated that there is absolutely no talk of divorce between them.
