With a major box-office face-off on the horizon, Huma Qureshi has opened up about the upcoming clash between Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh.
Rather than viewing it as competition, the actress described the situation as a positive moment for Indian cinema.
‘There Is Space For Everyone’
In a recent interaction with Variety India, Huma shared her perspective on the high-profile box-office showdown.
“Whichever way I look at it, it is a win for the Indian film industry and it’s going to be great for the audiences. It’s a win-win… a fantastic time for movie-going audiences, and there is space for everyone to do well.”
Her remarks reflect optimism about the growing scale of Indian cinema, where multiple big-ticket films can release simultaneously and still find success.
About Toxic
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a gangster drama starring Yash alongside Huma Qureshi. The film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. Notably, it has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, aiming for a wider global reach.
About Dhurandhar 2
Dhurandhar: The Revenge marks the sequel and final instalment of the action duology headlined by Ranveer Singh. The film reportedly brings back key cast members from the original, including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan.
While speculation continues about additional star cameos, official confirmations are still awaited.
As anticipation builds, the clash is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic showdowns of the year — one that, as Huma suggests, could ultimately benefit audiences and the industry alike.
