Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif welcomed their first child, a son named Vihaan, in November 2025. Speaking at a recent The Hollywood Reporter India event, Vicky opened up about his experience as a new dad and lauded Katrina for her role in taking care of their son.
“He is three months old right now, there’s very little a dad has to do when the baby is three months old. I’m just trying to be a cheerleader and I’m waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more,” Vicky said.
He further praised his wife, calling her a “warrior” and a “superhero.” “Right now, the mother is being the superhero, and she has been a warrior through her pregnancy and she has been a warrior as a mother as well. I’m so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much,” he added.
Vicky is currently busy winning awards for his performance in last year’s release Chhaava and has upcoming films Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and Mahavatar, directed by Amar Kaushik, based on Lord Parashurama. Katrina, meanwhile, has no officially announced film projects, though rumors continue about a possible revival of Jee Le Zaraa.
