Producer Bhushan Kumar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri are set to collaborate on an ambitious new film based on Operation Sindoor. The project will be jointly produced under the banners of T-Series and I Am Buddha Production, marking their first major collaboration on a large-scale venture.
According to industry sources, the film will be directed by Agnihotri, while Kumar will bankroll the project. Though details regarding the cast and storyline remain under wraps, the announcement has already generated significant buzz in the entertainment industry.
Bhushan Kumar has been actively backing high-profile productions. His recent release, Border 2, featured an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. He is also producing an upcoming untitled project with Harshvardhan Rane.
Meanwhile, Agnihotri’s last directorial venture was The Bengal Files, released in September 2025. The film marked the conclusion of his ‘Files’ trilogy, which also includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files.
With both Kumar and Agnihotri known for delivering impactful and commercially successful films independently, their collaboration on Operation Sindoor is expected to be a significant cinematic project.
