Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman attended the JBG Invincible Women’s Run and the Pinkathon Baby Wearing Mother’s Walk, a special event aimed at fostering a stronger bond between mothers and their babies while promoting active lifestyles.
Participants, many of them mothers, were seen enjoying the event with their children, dancing to Bollywood music, and celebrating the joy of staying active. The concept of babywearing, which was central to the event, helps keep babies calm while allowing mothers to stay fit and move freely.
Speaking to the media, Milind Soman shared, “This is a promotional event for the upcoming Pinkathon and Invincible Women’s Run, which will take place on December 15. This group of babywearing mothers is crucial to the event. They demonstrate the importance of caring for one’s health while nurturing a newborn, and they are truly an inspiration for others.”
One of the participants, who traveled from Thane with her baby, expressed her excitement about the event: “It was a unique experience. Normally, we stay home with our babies, but here, we got to participate in activities, and it was refreshing for both the mind and the body.”
The JBG Invincible Women’s Run is India’s only women-exclusive running event, designed to inspire women of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. The event offers various running categories, ranging from a 3K to an ultra-challenging 100K. More than just a race, it represents a movement that encourages women to prioritize their health, break down barriers, and build a supportive community.
Pinkathon, a pioneering initiative promoting women’s health and fitness, also raises awareness about breast cancer and other health issues women face. Over the past eight editions, it has inspired more than 275,000 women across India to adopt healthier, more active lifestyles.
The Invincible Women Run was conceptualized to raise awareness about the importance of healthy living for women. Its goal is to encourage and empower women to overcome visible and invisible barriers to prioritizing their health and well-being.
