Indore MBA Student Murder: Classmate Arrested In Mumbai After Alleged Occult Rituals

INDORE – A week-long manhunt concluded on Monday as Indore police arrested a young man in Mumbai for the brutal murder of his 24-year-old classmate. The investigation began on February 13, when neighbors in the Dwarkapuri area alerted authorities to a “strong foul smell” emanating from a locked rented house.

Upon entering the premises, police discovered the naked body of the victim, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student. The tenant of the house—the victim’s classmate and alleged partner—was found to have fled the city immediately following the incident.

Chilling Confessions and Occult Activity

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shrikrishna Lalchandani revealed that the accused was traced to Mumbai and is currently under interrogation. According to the police, the suspect confessed to strangling the woman to death. He further admitted to “mistreating” the body after her death.

In a bizarre turn of events, the accused allegedly engaged in occult practices while on the run. “The accused performed witchcraft near Panvel, in Navi Mumbai,” DCP Lalchandani stated. “He claims he was mentally disturbed after the murder and sought to communicate with the woman’s spirit through these rituals.”

Motive and Harassment Allegations

Investigators believe the murder was driven by extreme jealousy. The accused reportedly told police he suspected the victim of talking to other men, which led to an enraged confrontation.

However, the victim’s father has presented a far more predatory narrative. He has leveled serious allegations against the accused, including:

  • Blackmail: The father claims the suspect held obscene photographs of the victim.
  • Extortion: The accused allegedly used those images to extort money from the student.
  • Cyber-Harassment: It is alleged that the suspect followed through on threats by sharing the private images in the victim’s college WhatsApp group before her death.

Legal Status

The police are currently verifying the blackmail and extortion claims as part of the ongoing investigation. The accused remains in custody and faces charges related to murder, destruction of evidence, and the mistreatment of a corpse.
