Following its theatrical release on November 21, 2025, Farhan Akhtar’s patriotic war epic 120 Bahadur is preparing for its digital debut. The film is officially set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 16, 2026, strategically arriving just ahead of India’s Republic Day celebrations.

The Story of the “Charlie Company”

The film brings to life the extraordinary heroism of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC) and the 120 soldiers of the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment.

  • Historical Accuracy: Set during the 1962 Indo-China conflict, the plot focuses on the Battle of Rezang La, where 120 Indian soldiers defended their post against over 3,000 Chinese troops.

A Historic Milestone in Ladakh

In a first for Indian cinema, the makers organized a special screening at the Rezang La War Memorial Auditorium in Chushul, Ladakh. At an altitude of 16,452 feet, it set a record as the highest-altitude film screening ever held, attended by locals and army personnel at the very mountain pass where the historic battle took place.
