Bollywood couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who welcomed their baby girl in July 2025, recently shared insights into their new journey as parents during the We The Women Asia event in Mumbai. The couple recently revealed their daughter’s name as Sarayaah.

Sidharth shared the significance of their daughter’s unique name:

- Meaning: “Princess of God”
- Origin: Hebrew
Sidharth joked about adjusting to fatherhood, saying, “I have never lost so many arguments to someone who can’t speak!”
💪 Sidharth Hails Kiara’s Strength
Sidharth was profoundly affected by witnessing his wife’s journey through pregnancy and childbirth, describing it as an “eye-opening experience”:
- He called his wife a “superhero” and his daughter a “superstar.”
- “You know, men always talk about courage and grit and strength, but women actually demonstrate it when they become mothers,” he said.
- He praised Kiara for demonstrating true strength by going through “hormonal changes, physical changes” during pregnancy and now being a “true superhero, taking care of Saraayah.”
- Sidharth also noted that he is a “hands-on dad” to Sarayaah.
📸 Plea for Privacy
The new parents have formally requested the media and paparazzi to respect their privacy by not taking pictures of their daughter. In a note sent to journalists, they expressed gratitude for the wishes but asked to enjoy this special time “intimately as a family.” The note concluded: “So, no photos please, only blessings.”
