Content creator and PhD student Divyansh Tiwari was delighted by a thoughtful gesture from the IndiGo airline crew during a flight to Bengaluru. After casually mentioning his content creation to some staff members, the crew surprised him with complimentary food and drinks, along with a personalized, sweet message.
Tiwari, who is pursuing his PhD in nanotechnology at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru, shared his experience in a video captioned: “How @indigo.6e crew made my day.”
The Surprise Mid-Flight
In the video, Tiwari explained that he was simply chatting with the crew and informed them that he was a content creator heading to Bengaluru for his PhD studies. He did not anticipate the surprise that followed:
- Complimentary Service: The crew presented him with free food and drinks.
- Personalized Note: The treat was accompanied by a card expressing how happy the crew was to welcome him aboard. The note included several signatures, presumably from the staff who served him.
- Keepsake: Tiwari concluded his video by showing a special message written on a cup, which he said he planned to keep as a memento.
Focus on Recognition Over Freebies
While filming his video outside the airport, Tiwari reflected on the experience, saying that while free food and beverages might not be a major event for some, the recognition was deeply meaningful to him as an influencer.
He stressed that the value of the gesture lay not in the monetary worth of the complimentary items, but in the acknowledgement he received from the airline crew.
