The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced a unique initiative, opening its Namo Bharat trains for people to celebrate personal milestones and events.
Under this new scheme, individual event organizers or media companies can reserve a static or running Namo Bharat coach for private occasions like birthdays, pre-wedding shoots, and other personal events, as reported by news agency.
💰 Booking Price and Duration
- A mock-up coach for static shoots will be available at the Duhai Depot.
- The booking will start from ₹5,000 per hour.
- This rate includes an additional 30 minutes each allotted for setting up and removing decorations or equipment.
- The service offers a visually appealing setting, utilizing the modern-designed coaches of Namo Bharat for photographs and small gatherings.
⏰ Event Timings and Guidelines
- Celebrations will only be permitted between 6 am and 11 am.
- Events must be organized in a way that does not disrupt the normal Namo Bharat train operations to avoid inconvenience to commuters.
- The facilities can be personalized with simple decorations, subject to certain guidelines.
- All activities will be supervised by NCRTC staff and security personnel to ensure safety and adherence to operational protocols.
With stations at key locations like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South, the initiative is expected to attract residents across the Delhi-Meerut corridor.
The NCRTC has also formulated a detailed premises hiring policy for film shoots, documentaries, advertisements, and other visual projects at Namo Bharat trains and stations, which will be available for booking at competitive rates.
