Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, has been summoned for questioning by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police in connection with a major ₹252-crore drug trafficking case.
The summons comes after an alleged drug trafficker, Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh (also known as ‘Lavish’), named him and several other high-profile personalities during interrogation.

- The Case: The investigation is linked to a massive drug syndicate that was uncovered following the seizure of 126.14 kg of mephedrone (MD)—valued at approximately ₹252 crore—from a manufacturing facility in Sangli, Maharashtra, in March 2024.
- The Accused: Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh was recently deported from Dubai and is alleged to be an aide of fugitive drug kingpin Salim Dola, who is linked to the Dawood Ibrahim gang.
- The Allegations: Shaikh has reportedly confessed to organizing lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai, which were allegedly attended by several well-known figures.
- Individuals Named: Orry’s name surfaced in the ANC’s remand application, alongside other celebrities and political figures, including actors Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
- Orry’s Summons Status: Orry was summoned to appear before the ANC’s Ghatkopar unit at 10 AM on Thursday, November 20. Reports indicate that he has requested a date after November 25, as he is currently not in the city.
- Police Position: ANC officers have clarified that the questioning of Orry is a procedural step to corroborate or refute the trafficker’s statements. No charges have been leveled against him so far.
Despite the summons, Orry was reportedly seen enjoying Travis Scott’s concert in Mumbai on November 19, just one day before he was due to appear for questioning.
